Stubborn breakouts need equally potent actives. They need a proven solution that actually clears the source. This 5% benzoyl peroxide gel targets acne at its root, killing bacteria, unclogging pores, and preventing new breakouts for visibly clearer skin.
What This Benzoyl Peroxide Gel Does?
Targents acne-causing bacteria directly inside the pore, eliminating the root cause of inflammatory breakouts.
- Unclogs pores by loosening the sebum and dead skin cells that trigger new breakouts.
- Reduces existing blemishes and gradually lightens acne spots for a smoother, more even complexion.
- Prevents future breakouts when used consistently as part of a daily acne-control routine.
HOW TO USE
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly and pat dry. Always apply benzoyl peroxide to clean, dry skin.
- For spot treatment: apply a small amount directly onto active blemishes using a clean fingertip or cotton bud.
- For full-face acne control: apply a thin, even layer across all acne-prone areas of the face, avoiding the eye contour, nostrils and lips.
- Allow to absorb fully before applying moisturizer, this step is essential to protect the skin barrier.
- Apply SPF 30 or higher every morning without exception. Benzoyl peroxide increases photosensitivity.
Frequency: Once daily, preferably at night. If well-tolerated after 2 weeks, it can be used morning and night.
Pro Tip: Benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabric on contact. Use white or dark towels and pillowcases, and allow the gel to absorb fully before contact with clothing or bedding. Always follow with a non-comedogenic moisturizer to prevent the over-drying that causes the skin barrier to overproduce oil, leading to more breakouts.

FAQS
Is 5% benzoyl peroxide the right strength for me?
5% is the most widely recommended concentration by dermatologists for moderate acne, especially if you are new to benzoyl peroxide. Can I use benzoyl peroxide on dark skin?
Yes. Benzoyl peroxide is effective and safe on all skin tones. For melanin-rich skin, it is particularly important to follow with a non-comedogenic moisturizer, as excessive dryness from benzoyl peroxide can trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Can I use this gel with other acne actives like salicylic acid or niacinamide?
Use with caution. Benzoyl peroxide can oxidise and deactivate vitamin C, so avoid using both on the same application. Salicylic acid, used in the same routine, can increase dryness. if combining, apply at different times of day. Niacinamide pairs well and helps manage the redness and post-acne marks that follow breakouts.
Should I use benzoyl peroxide in the morning or at night?
Night use is preferable when starting. It reduces the need to apply SPF immediately after, and the longer contact time while sleeping maximises efficacy. Once well-tolerated, it can be used both AM and PM. If used in the morning, always finish with SPF 30+.Will benzoyl peroxide dry out my skin?
Some initial dryness is normal as your skin adjusts. Apply a lightweight moisturizer immediately after the gel absorbs, and reduce frequency to every other night if significant peeling occurs. The dryness typically subsides after 2 to 4 weeks as your skin adapts.
