• Cleanse with a gentle face wash.
• Apply a hydrating toner (optional, but it boosts absorption).
• Dispense 2–3 drops to clean, dry skin.
• Press evenly across the face, neck, and décolletage. Avoid the eye area.
• Follow with a moisturiser to lock in actives.
• Always finish with SPF 30+ during the day.

Is azelaic acid serum safe for sensitive skin and rosacea?
Yes. Azelaic acid is one of the few actives clinically shown to treat rosacea and calm reactive skin. Our 10% formulation is buffered with niacinamide and licorice root to minimise tingling on first use.

Can I use this serum while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes. Azelaic acid and niacinamide are both considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding; they're often the go-to alternatives when retinoids and salicylic acid are off-limits. Always confirm with your OB-GYN before introducing any new active.

How long until I see results from azelaic acid?
Most users notice clearer skin and fewer active breakouts within 4-6 weeks. Visible fading of dark spots typically begins at 6-8 weeks, with full results by week 12 with consistent daily use.

Will azelaic acid lighten my natural skin tone?
No. Azelaic acid is selective. It only targets the over-pigmented cells responsible for dark spots and PIH. Your healthy melanin stays intact. Only the marks fade.

Can I use azelaic acid with retinol or vitamin C?
Yes, but we do not recommend using them in the same step. Use vitamin C in the morning, azelaic acid at night, and reserve retinol for alternating evenings. This prevents barrier irritation and keeps each active working at full strength.
